Relationship between bacterial growth phase and hemolytic activity

aliquot of the culture supernatant was harvested from the main culture broth of P. oris every 2 h to study the growth curve and determine the hemolytic activity of the bacteria. After determining the turbidity by measuring the absorbance at 600 nm, the aliquot was centrifuged at 10,000×g for 20 min, and the hemolytic activity in the supernatant was determined.
